Map streamlining and lighting.
I have been continuing to improve the map, the lighting and the effects. I will be working on this the rest of this week and you should see more and more improvement as I go along.
I have included four images showing recent map and lighting changes. Of note is the addition of dragons teeth barriers in the east wing area replacing very hard to see cones which cast no shadow. I have also spaced out the dragons teeth at the flag room entrance (image #1) so that you can push up against the barrier and get excellent positioning for weapons fire and flag room defense. The bots really help in simulating game play and aid in revealing map changes that make better sense and yield a better flow.
I have also changed some of the lighting attributes, removed a few lights and positioned and resized others. I am continuing to improve the specular image maps and fine tune my lighting scheme.
I am making good progress and it's great to see things coming together.
